Yea, I'm one, big time. So I've been playing with this new online application put out by Intellicast. Pretty powerful with lots of information available in an animated environment.

We are getting pounded with Rain from the storm that gave everyone else snow. Latest forecast has the potential of up to 180 mm of rain in a 24 hr period for S/W NB. It is intense rain and I am seeing water in places I have never seen it before. The ground was frozen so it has nowhere to absorb, just running off of surface into tributaries.

What a crazy storm we are getting here. We have already got 100mm and are expecting 70 more tonight. Winds re gusting over 100 km/h and it is +17 C right now...Just had a major thunder and lightning storm. In December.... While you folks in ONT and Mid US are getting pounded with Blizzard. Its just a conveyor Belt of Tropical energy.

I had a feeling we were going to be in for a really tough winter. The last couple that we had, particularly last winter, were quite ... weak I suppose you could say.

I got this pic sent to me of a road just north of me. Millions in damage to infrastructure here.

I wish I was there...That must have been awesome to be apart of. Assuming you don't have a home nearby of course...

It was pretty crazy. So much more happened then will ever be reported. I will start getting photos coming in more and more as they become available. This is my lot where I am in the process of building a house. Note: I did not purchase lakefront. On the edge of the driveway, the ground level is 3 feet below waterline. This all happened because of one little culvert that got blocked...

Check out this beast. It was found washed up on shore during our flooding last week. It would be an NB record of 61 lbs. World record for this species is 69 lbs.
