Okay this is gonna sound silly but wouldnt it be cool if we had a BBKL Coach Draft. The order could be randomized and teams could choose their coaches and hire/fire based on how the team is doing. Obv it would have no fantasy impact but i think a Coach draft would be WICKED for the community.

i don't see how it would be wicked for the community if it has not fantasy impact, maybe it's just me.

What could add fun imo is adding coaches to teams the way we did in the soccer fantasy league i ran almost 10 yrs ago:
each team would sign a coach, and for each stage that coach would bring 2 pts bonus for a win by his real life team and 1 point bonus for a tie.
Translating it to BBKL, you could add a category and the team getting more coach's pts in the week would get the Win in the coach stat.
It would be somehow similar to the goalies' W stat, would still add fun.

To be determined what happens if the coach is sacked: for us back then, the new coach available (the substitute) would be a free agent and every team would be able to offer for his services through live biddings.. we don't use biddings here so we would need a different way to manage the substitutes market.
We could also assign by default the substitute coach to the team who owned the sacked coach; however, that would take away a good part of the fun: i mean, i still remember jinxing other teams' coaches to be fired and the ensuing celebrations among GMs lol, that was awesome, provided some of the biggest climax of the season.

Could also be a way to level the field here a little bit.. would love to see Scott's team coached by Jack Capuano.

I would rather we sign real life people as coaches who are in charge of lineups. Then we just worry about trading and watching hockey. LOL

no kidding eh. dude i dont know what i was thinking when i made this post. ive been stuck in my room studying for my law school admissions exam for the last month and a half. but the exam is tomorrow! pray for me.

I want anyone to beat him, the longer the streak goes the greater the difference between him and everyone else. As a competitive and self respecting member of this league you should want me to beat him as much as anyone.

the difference between my team and scotts will be the same regardless of whether you beat him. any competitive and self respecting competitor should never be okay with watching someone else do what they have not yet. therefore beating Scott has two objectives: 1) to exact revenge for week 1 and 2) be the Neil Armstrong of BBKL haha.
