The problem is that Mike stepped in and said this is how it is. It doesn't matter what the CC thinks. Do you know what kind of can of worms that opens up? Every time the CC wants to talk about something an Admin can veto it? That gives ridiculous amount of power to a small group of people. The purpose of the CC is to provide fair, just representation.
This is about big picture. You are being too narrow minded in seeing what this can mean in the future.
