actually he's been on my scout list because i almost got sucked in by his 10 pts in 14 games last season too...

he's been nothing short of disappointing this season.

this is an example of how these individual player blocks can backfire.

sometimes it can help hype a player up, or sometimes it can just reveal their struggles.

He's definitely a talented young guy but his minutes have been cut back a lot in the last couple weeks. He's down to around 12-14 minutes when he was playing 16-22 minutes up until then. The addition of Ian White has moved him down to the third pair with Jay Harrison. He was projected to be a top 4 guy for the Canes but that was before the trade. Pitkanen, Corvo, Gleason and White are playing top 4 minutes.

Really ?you sound like a jealous ex girlfriend who got dumped for not putting out. Your offer was far less than what I accepted.

As much as I agree with you that some people put too much stock in hockey db, this is entirely a stat driven league. If you aren't looking at the stats you aren't doing your due diligence.

Okay, will you trade me Cody McLeod and Dimitri Kulikov for a 5th round pick? They are off to worse starts.

you are a complete fucking retard dude and somehow fail to grasp my point. Unless antons offer for Mcbain was a 5th then you are using stupidity to try to make what I said less true. I agreed with you in that some people take too much out of points and don't look at the big picture but to insult someone for doing their research is idiotic as stats matter. Also Kulikov doesn't play for me unless I have injuries and I would 100% expect people to judge him by his stats while trying for him. Mcleod is what he is and has had a diminished role this year. He isn't on my team for points, he is there for hits, pims and other categories but you would know that if you ever educated yourself enough to make an argument worth listening to.

You need to learn to speak like an adult. I grasped your point quite well. I was simply pointing out that anyone who can't look beyond hockey DB probably aren't the best people to judge a trade.

he's not talking about any pitch i made for mcbain, i never did and never will.

he's saying the deal he just did w/ frank was better than my offer of:

TBL 1st 2011, OTT 1st 2011, CGY 1st 2011 + Tikhonov + Halischuk (i think, could've been a defensive prospect) for the pick.

Argue all you want about this, after moving Hunwick earlier, McBain is being pulled off the table unless something blows me away.
