TBL Block -> Equally Opportunity Initiative.

Currently dressing 3 Bruins & 3 Stars, would like to subtract one of each.
Meaning one of Blake Wheeler & Patrice Bergeron are available, as well as one of Matt Niskanen & Mike Ribeiro.
Not looking for notable up or down grades, or to really take on any cap, need the same positions back as I'm losing.
Note: would prefer to deal Bergeron & Niskanen, but open to other ideas.

Love how you labeled your block the, "equal opportunity initiative."

Your point might hold some weight if Nick's decision had anything to do with Ribeiro the player, rather than Ribeiro the Star.

Ribeiro would be removed from this block if he were to be traded in real life (and not to Boston...LOL), this is not in support of your argument Shiv.

you guys can say whatever you like lol. This is not about Ribeiro the Star or Ribeiro the Player. This is about Ribeiro the Overpaid.

If we are to assume your line of reasoning, we must also conclude that every member of the Pittsburgh Penguins is both overpaid and overrated.

if this was the case why you nicks block have this at the bottom?
Note: would prefer to deal Bergeron & Niskanen, but open to other ideas.
again you take what you want to prove your point but neglect something that totally contradicts what you are trying to say lol. This is clearly about Ribeiro the star as nick would rather move Bergeron who is cheaper even if by only a small amount. This is obviously because Nick would rather keep Wheeler than Niskanen but if Ribeiro had such an albotros of a contract compared to his stats, Nick wouldn't rather lose a solid h2h guy like Bergeron. Basically Nick wants to keep Ribeiro but would move him only because he has way too many stars and thats a disadvantage.

lol bry i made the post to antagonize kareem because of our discussion from before. but i see that i managed to antagonize you as well
. btw i bet you bergeron stays and ribeiro goes. nick is an excellent salesman. he is making it sound like hed rather move bergeron to move ribeiro in the end. dont use what someone says in there trade block post as some sort of proof about player value lol. either way ribeiro will not be in tampa bay come playoff time. bergeron still might.

I'm actually a pretty shitty salesman, and typically do something pretty close to what I say
different methods for different folks

Reading minds now? saying that he is saying one thing because he wants the other lol. Yes nick is a good salesmen but not every guy in this league is a used car salesman shiv lol. Its actually pretty obvious why nick would prefer ribeiro, he would rather have wheeler than niskanen, it's really as simple as that.

anyone who disagrees with the fact that Ribeiro is not worth 5m to a contender who has far too many good assets to be able to afford that hit in salary will never be able to build a champion in this league. and any contender this year who disagrees with that fact: i ask a simple question: why is a player like ribeiro (not only stats wise but salary wise as well) not on your team?

Aside from Shiv stealing the spotlight from my trade block things are going fairly well.
Unlike the real Bruins, who [according to the announcers] said they'd need a Sidney-Crosby type player to deal Bergeron, I'd actually be looking for a Bergeron type player... props if he's a lefty.
