I could give two shits if I lose in this league if it means that the Bruins get the old Savard back in the lineup they have now. Then it will be look out bitches.

I suppose it helps that your losing in this league is an inevitability.

Come on, we can have fun here, but you cant say i have a shit team. That's a dumb line and your team hasn't done one thing to ever be called an elite team. When things change you'll get your respect. Until then you have no truth behind your blatant untrue statements. Talk the shit when you got some weight behind your statements, otherwise you look foolish.

Savard return could either kick-start/supercharge some of my guys, or ...

Lucic-Krecji-Horton -> don't see that changing TBH
Rechhi-Savard-Seguin -> Dunno if they'd do that... maybe Savard on the wing??
Wheeler-Bergeron-Caron -> Was money earlier in the year
Ryder-Campbell-Marchand/Thornton/Paille -> Man Ryder is an expensive 4th liner... and not enough minutes for Machand...

Wheeler on the 3rd line is a cruel joke as well... this forward group isn't quiet Philly good... but it is damn good.

Perception is just that...Perception. How you perceive my team is of little consequence, and hardly deserving of an educated response. You have defeated my team twice on the back of injury and good fortune. Regardless, the Capitals of yesterday are not the same Capitals as today, and certainly not the same as tomorrow. So it seems almost counterproductive to debate the results of said team.

In short, you've got nothing on me bitch!

Can you imagine if Kessel resigned?

Lucic ----- Savard ----- Kessel
Ryder ----- Krejci ----- Horton
Wheeler -- Bergeron -- Caron
Recchi - Campbell - Thornton

Assuming that squad were healthy, I wouldn't bet against it winning a cup.

I'm still enjoying the bold call of BOS vs PHI conference finals :P

There is a lot of depth. Not sure what will happen. It could possibly be Caron going down and Paille being waived. That would clear enough cap space to activate Savard. That is until Sturm is due to return, then they will have the same problem. Trading Ryder might be an option but he is actually playing great. Either way, somethings gotta give. I would love to see Wheeler on Savvy's wing. They are tough to have on a fantasy team because the scoring is so spread out.

I could see:

Lucic-Krecji-Horton
Wheeler-Savard- Ryder
Rechhi-Bergeron-Seguin
Marchand - Campbell - Thornton = gotta be one of the best 4th lines in the league.

I'm not a fan of their current team, too much uncertainty with the cap and health of the team. I can't remember who I chose to make it to the show, if at all, but if I were put on the spot today I'd select, Detroit v. Washington.

Good to hear this. Would suck for his career to have ended that way.

conf finals
VAN vs DET in the west
WSH vs BOS in the east

for a

VAN vs BOS stanley cup final.

Might be a bit of a homer pick but this is the first year I have picked the nucks.

I had them from the start so i have to agree with you. It is a homer pick on my part and I have never had them picked in last few years past ECF. This is the year to pick em.

BOS vs TB in EAST
VAN vs LA in WEST

same: VAN vs BOS stanley cup final.

Apparently the Bruins are not in that bad of shape cap - wise for Savard. Trent Whitfield has been on LTIR, so that is a saving that wasn't known. They will need to waive Paille. Even after that they will be 25,000 over the cap. Not much but enough that a small move has to be made. Will Caron be sent down? will McQuaid be waived? Will a minor trade be made? Hunwick, Stuart, Ryder? Either way they have time because Savard will not be back for a couple weeks anyway(assuming, he had no training camp and will be thrown into a team in mid-season shape) I think the problem that will arise is when Sturm is ready to return. Maybe he will just stay on LTIR for the year, who knows..things getting interesting in Beantown.
