Re: Prospects Thread
I feel like I sold the farm...
But 4 guys that I've made sure to look for highlights and stories on:
Nino Niederreiter: PPG in his 12 games back in the WHL, also got in a scrap that he faired nicely in regular season won't mean much; WJC and Mem Cup are where Nino needs to shine.
Troy Rutkowski: one of the fallers on draft day, he's off to a very nice season for the Winterhawks, 17pts in 25 games.
Sondre Olden: had an awesome start in the Sweden J20 league for MODO, earning him a callup to the big boys league, nothing in his 2 games there so far, once again, WJC will be the place to watch.
Chris Kreider: has moved back to centre for BC, not exactly scorching the stat sheet @ 6pts in 12 games. As seems typical for my prospects, big things are expected @ WJC after an impressive first showing.

uh?! i thought his U20 numbers (12GP,4,3,7) were disappointing so far this season.facey wroteCOLON Sondre Olden: had an awesome start in the Sweden J20 league for MODO, earning him a callup to the big boys league, nothing in his 2 games there so far, once again, WJC will be the place to watch.

Re: Prospects Thread
Watch Toffoli at the Aud in Kitchener this past weekend. He looked really solid offensively, great wheels on him and was a constant scoring threat against the Rangers (he scored twice and added another in the SO). Showed great hands and a quick release. Defensively he didnt really stand out to me which I guess isnt always a bad thing. I didnt notice any glaring mistakes by him, that being said he didnt do anything spectacular defensively either. A solid game by Toffoli for sure.hong57 wroteCOLONToffoli - as i expected he will be a huge scoring threat this year, and he is proving so. 22g 38pts in 25 games.

Re: Prospects Thread
If you guys want to see some dirtiness live, watch Michael Latta and Nail Yakupov, probably the two most skilled danglers in the OHL atm, perhaps even the CHL.
