you just got neal without touching your starting lineup.

sure i milked it a bit, but you are far and away the best team in bbkl now.

I paid a ton but it's a calculated risk. I'll re-stock to prospect pool in the off season like I did last year

I don't love it for Anton, I think he added alot of ok, potentially good pieces, nothing great. Although it wouldn't shock me if Kassian developed into a H2H stud.

I believe he will.. Kassian, although his 4th year in the OHL, he's really a man amongst boys down there. He really should be in the NHL right now. If he was a month older he'd most definitely be in the AHL and ripping it up imo

Yeah he definately has that potential, but you are no idiot, you know as well as I that it will be quite some time before that potential materializes in the NHL, and who knows if BBKL is even around by then. It's the same reason I traded him, and if I know you, you will reacquire Kassian for less before he reaches that point.

Well most powerforwards, not all, but most develop much later on in their careers, I.E. 26/27/28. Kassian is 20. 6/7/8 years from now there is a very real chance this league is non existant.

Among other things, certainly. I mean think about it, where do you see yourself in 7 years? Still playing fantasy hockey? I don't know what my own future holds, but I'd be surprised if this was one of them, even as much as I love it. I'd imagine the same holds true for just about everyone, but I could be wrong, this could be one of those really special leagues that last years.

I find it interesting that you would assume that isn't common knowledge.

uh....why not? am i missing something?

it's not like this is a career. it's something you do in your spare time.

i've been doing yahoo pools for close to 5 years now and this is a hell of a lot better than that.

and correct me if im wrong, i did miss a period time in the middle, but imo this is the most stable this league has ever been as far as competent GMs and activity goes.

Well then I suppose I should just speak for myself, I don't personally see myself in this league in seven years.
