I like this deal in favor of Ottawa since Theodore is having a better year and better stats exemple;

Theodore stats 2010-2011- 4 Starts- 143 Shots-12 GA-2W-2L-2.96 GA-.916%
Chris Mason stats-13 Starts-6 W-5 L-1 OT-428 SA-44 GA-384SAve-3.90 GAA-897 %

I rather have a back up like theo then mason if I have Lundqvist.

What do you mean "if" you have Lundqvist?

I meant if the gm had a starter like H. Lundqvist. I'll chose my word more carefully.

It's lundqvist. I would want a kind randsom as well. Top three goalie in this league.

Neither goalie is having a very good year...Theodore has been okay when he plays but he won't get a lot of action but Bill has Roloson, who gets the majority of the starts for the Isles. He's had decent numbers but can't win because he's on a bad team. Bill probably won't have a problem getting GP from his goalies...he basically had two starters going into the season. Mason was the weaker of the two ad I suppose he had to go. Considering you can still win GAA and SV%, Bill is sacrificing the wins category. With Pavelec back and playing well, you wonder how many games Mason will play for the Thrashers given his poor play so far.

i still think overall mason starts at least 30 games this season he has started 11 so far and i like dp but u just never knows when another injury creeps up, and i was trying for pavelec but unsuccessful that was the other part of the thinking.

I never said it was that bad, it s a decent deal but rather have great Save percentage and a good GAA then have games played.
