I have to favor Frank...Chris takes a major dive in the goaltending department. Weiss and Oshie do have great long-term value but it's there aren't a lot of goalies on the level of King Henrik. I suppose he can go find another goalie but good luck finding someone that would want DiPietro and his $4.5 million cap hit.

Like it for Frank - I just don't trust Dipi

Yeah I gotta lean towards Frank winning this deal as well. Dipeitro is obviously the wildcard but honestly don't think he'll be able to ever turn it around.

thx guys and I did this deal cause the week when I had elliot he won the game for my team. So now i know how important a goaltender is. So that was my main reason in trading oshie etc. I believe it was a even deal but for goaltender like henrik being involve become less fair since he should ask for a over payment. be he did get theo to cover him wich he s doing very well as the back up of minny.
So I'll say I won but if Dipietro can turn is career arround then for sure biffalo won the deal.

He's not too old...only a year older than Lundqvist but his lack of durability, let alone his poor numbers should be enough reason to stay away.
And that's coming from a guy that traded for Khabibulin...

frank just got arguably the best goalie in the league and he's only 28 years old.

Nope Frank looks like you've won overall I'd say. Lot of people may criticize your methods, but your results are pretty amazing from the team you took over. Your doing what you said you would, now lets see if you can become a contender.

i think if chris put lundqvist on the market by himself, he wouldve gotten more than theodore + dipietro + rafalski + 2nd + +. without adding anything more from his side as well. lundqvist is fantasy gold at his position.
