Nice deal guys. Tinordi's slow start in the OHL has really hurt his value, but its a looonnngggg season :P

I've been sitting on Voinov and Wishart...both are in the AHL and playing well offensively. I was hoping either one would get "the call" soon. Tinordi has a little longer to go before he makes the NHL but he's another big body and high draft pick to go with Alzner and Wishart. I'm feeling pretty good about the group of young defenseman I'm putting together. If I was to give up two higher round picks, I'm glad to get a prospect with 1st round value.

Really like this for shiv but if Tinordi turns out to be a matt greene that shoalzie wins. Good deal for both clubs.

I like it for both team. The on ly thing that worry me is that LA is loaded with good prospect and great D's like Nashville. So there's gona be alot of good prospect not getting there chance like the prospect (d's) in Nashville like Blim and others. But in potentiel and value I believe Voinov is worth more but Tinordi will bring some atractive asset since he will be a DD. So I bet he'll bring block shot, good +/- rating, hit and those are great stats to have. So for now I give the edge to Pitts but Detroit could actually win the deal in a year or 2. Hopefully you know how to pick since you got 2 good picks.

Huge win by PIT imo....Voynov is severely underrated and to get those picks on top of it? Well done Shiv!

Ya, Tinordi's brutal.. trust me, I watch him a lot and he's having a tough time adjusting to the OHL

I wonder how much worse Shoalzie's team can get? It's gonna be a big, up-hill climb for the Wings.

not the first player to have trouble adjusting... but he's massive & comes from good bloodlines... it wasn't 2 months ago that you were pimping Tinordi Scottie boi... it might take him some time but he'll come around.

But we all know why I was pimping him.. he was coming to my favourite team! But seriously, I've watched him almost every game and he's a turnover machine, slow, clumsy, and really a waste of space (lots of space). But you're right, he could come around.. although I doubt it.

I'm curious to know why he backed out of going to Notre Dame in favor of playing in the OHL. He'd be getting minutes with the Irish and they're one of the better programs in the conference and all of college hockey. They're a very young team with a lot of freshman contributing but they've got great senior leadership as well.

His old man was a rugid and dependable defenseman. He maxed out at around 40 points and played a physical style and racked up the PIMs...100+ minutes annually. I'd be pretty happy if he was a similar player. The Canadiens will need a need guy like him coming up with Hal Gill getting up there in years...he'll be 36 in April.

My thing with Voinov is why has he not been called up with the injuries to Doughty, Greene and Mitchell during the season? He's showing the production in the AHL but he's not getting the opportunity to play. The Kings have excellent depth on defense in their organization but you wonder if and when he's going to get his shot. My hope is that Tinordi isn't going to be caught up in the numbers game with the Habs like Voinov has with the Kings.

Voynov + Marc-Andre Bergeron + 1st + 2nd for Greene is not so bad huh.
