Not sure if I should accept this deal. But as the GM of Dallas I accept this deal. Hopefully I didn't get too burn.

The joys of having 4 every day players on LTIR.

lol franks owns.

lee made 2 pretty great deals back to back and quite honestly, like 3 deals later, has nothing to show for it.

imo of course.

not true, If Jesse become we I think he can become then I loss the deal. Jesse me be worth a 1st sooner then later. And Blake could be traded a the trade dead line to a team that need offence. So I don't think it was that bad. I truelly hated trading Jesse.

Joensuu was called up this morning.
Blake is terrible and overpaid and old.. His salary helps me. Atleast he is an every day player

When 3 of your defenceman are sent down, one of your best forwards goes on LTIR in the same week (when you already have 3 every day players on LTIR), you need to make some moves, usually ones you don't want to. That's the joys of rebuilding a shitty team held together with duct tape. I've asked around for a couple of days for available forwards and everyone only seems to be trading crappy depth or want mountains of gold for struggling players.

Essentially "who cares about the draft", coined by our once GM, Cliff Fletcher, who was notorious for trading away all of our draft picks.

im not sure if youre aware lee but each team is required to be above only 1100 GP. thats 19 X 82 = 1558 games. you are talking like this was so urgent that you could not have sat out your injured players for a week or so if the right deal came along lol. this was not worth giving up two 2nds. you couldve easily found a roster player if you patiently waited instead of being bored at work ;).

If meeting 1900 games is made or broken by this deal, than Lee definitely made the right move..

My injured players:

Josh Harding - Out for the season
Kurt Sauer - Out for the season
Alex Kotalik - Out until who knows when
Scott Parse - Out until Feb

Falk was sent down
Carson was sent down
Lifition was sent down

Sometimes I'm not very patient. I already told Frank that it was a bad trade to make but it was something that had to be done.
