i like this for tampa.. versteeg will return to form eventually and cogliano sucks

I'll lean towards Tampa on this one because I've targeted Versteeg. Cogliano is a disappointing player.

So far this year Colgiano's #s are superior... and he's 1/3 the price.

He hits a fair amount, has been on pk #1 for the last 5-6 games, and isn't afraid to shoot. I was willing to move him @ this low because he's an oiler, and having 3 young players on an inconsistent team is asking for wrecked +/- and absentee weeks.



Wellman is a sick piece btw... check out what I paid to be able to draft him (my target from day 1)... as he gets stronger he'll be a good NHLer. #1 NCAA UFA from last year.


But ye, Versteeg on the point of our PP was sexy, and he *should* be a better player then he has been so far, ideally buying at the first little upward swing of what is a huge climb to a reasonably consistent 60 point player with reasonable peripheries... cause at 3.083M he's not a bargain.

Chris has been shifting salary around so I can see him taking Cogliano at the much lower price...as Nick points out.

Meh I like this for nick alot. Versteeg has been under achieving imo while cogs is playing at his max, not sold on wellman at all.
