I know he's injured but please stop messaging me hoping to get him at a discount because of the injury. The kid is a star in the making. Please and thank you.

I'm with Shiv, I've long been a believer in his abilities.

don't get me wrong, i like Oshie.....but like i've stated above, he's a product of his fan base....much like Tucker and Domi were to us (in their primes)

Oshie is a dynamic two way player...Domi was a fighter and Tucker was an agitator, terrible, terrible comparison.

Oshie is right up there with the most-overvalued guys. Shiv you had a chance to sell him @ a high, but missed it.

He's now an injured 24 year old that has never scored 20goals or 50pts.

absolutely wrong nick. you undervalue players based on past performance. or rather should i say, you say that when you are interested in a player (you asked me about oshie multiple times in the past month). oshie's best years are only ahead of him. the injury is a minor setback. im fine with keeping him LOL. hardly a constellation prize.

Third year player posting near ppg numbers...What a bust!

wtf? did I say bust???

He's a gritty 60 point guy... not some budding superstar. That is by no means a bust, and a player I would welcome onto my team.

I'm merely combating exageration with more exageration. For you to cap him at 60 points (three seasons into his career) is just as bad as these supposed people who claim he is a superstar.

Sorry,(IMO) I've watched enough of his games, and yes he has plays that resemble a PPG player, but he has too many plays and shifts that resemble Colby Armstrong to thought of as a PPG guy... he's not a 22 year old who's done 30-60-60... (aka Zach Parise who then explodes to 96).

He put up 50 point pace seasons in his first two seasons, and was near ppg to start this season, and your capping him at 60. You can spin it however you like, you still have no argument, and your comparison to Armstrong is laughable, his career high in points is 40. Oshie by contrast scored 39 as a rookie, in 57 games to boot. There is no comparable, not even stylistically, and anyone with eyes can differentiate between the hands of Oshie and Armstrong.

Not sure where Zach Parise comes into play either, he is a legit superstar.

c'mon, not really... yet, the word superstar doesn't belong here.

- So you believe he's a super star in the making, but comparing him to the start of a legit star isn't fair ?
oshie's best years are only ahead of him
-> I agree... haven't said otherwise.. 20-25g 30-40a = 50-65pts really nice #'s, especially with the rest of his games.

any person who caps oshie at 65 points has lost their minds. oshies cap to me is 85 points. he could do more but THAT is unlikely. 85 points to me is only a matter of time.
