I know I just made Kareem the undisputed favourite to win the championship. I don't care. Confirmed.

I don't think it's as bad as it seems, Kareem...you didn't lose your ass here but I do like this a little more for Shiv right away. Parenteau is one of the sell high guys because you don't know if he's really this good so good on you for being able to package him in a deal while you could. I'm a Pavelski slappy...he's a tough guy to deal but you've also got two of the best young centers already and I think what you did was make you more of well-rounded team. Both Cooke and Backes will add some jam...to use a Pierre-ism. Pavelski and Belanger are very solid 2-way centers...will hit faceoffs big time and should hit the other defensive stats. I don't pay attention to what you top teams are lacking in stats because I pretty much assume you have most of them covered. I don't know if you were lacking in physicality and I assume Shiv needed some help at center with Savard out and he adds two very solid centers.

I'll say 60/40 Shiv on this...I don't know where that falls on the rape-o-meter.

I like this for Shiv quiet easily.

Pavelski takes more categories from Backes (A/bs/g/shtoi/pts/sog/stpts)... fow is realy close, +/- is not projectable... hits & PIMS definitely belong to David.

P.A is meh, but Belanger is nice to add, a little better then Cooke IMO.

I like this deal for Shiv but I get why Kareem does this.

This is a prime example of why I NEVER base a decision on the advice of others. More often than not they don't know what they are talking about. Good teams are good for a reason, not because they took the advice of others.

BTW folks, Belanger is on my bench, and anyone who thinks Belanger > Cooke is an idiot. There is no other way to put it.

Cooke dominates Belanger in almost everything, except FOW, but I already have 5 centers.

Backes takes Pavelski in assists, fow, tied in bs, leads in shtoi and very close in pts. Backes does more in periphery stats, and likely less in points, which is fine, I don't need points, I need periphery stats.

Good trade both ways. All the players involved are beasts in one way or another. Not really much more to say than it is a good trade.

Man, I wish I could make a trade with you sometime Shiv. You always seem to rub your partners balls after every deal. Kinda like a hooker who steals your wallet first, then blows you as shes on her way out the door.

Look at the numbers...I agree with him, barring injury I don't see anyone taking me. I dominated everyone in points before this week, and on an avg week goaltending should be a big strength too. My biggest weaknesses, hits, pims, and shtoi have now become a huge strength with the additions of Backes, Cooke and Drewiske (saved cap).

The thing alot of people are missing, is that Belanger has been on my bench the entire season, I literally have 5 better centers. I essentially added two superior starters, and freed up cap space to bring on a specialty player in Drewiske, which is why I find it funny that everyone thinks I lost.

Also, for those wondering why I dealt Pavelski, it's because he isn't the player I thought he would be. He's been playing third line minutes ES all season, 4/5th in FOA on the team, behind Nichol/Marleau, Thornton and Couture, and just uttery useles on the dot all season. To this point in the season, Joe has essentially been used as a pp specialist.

He's got that potential, not sure how likely it is in SJS though. When is the last time a second line center scored at a ppg clip anyways?

Who? Other than Malkin I can't think of anyone.
