Here we go ladies and gents. It's finally time for the whole enchilada. Who will go down in BBKL history and who will simply be...forgotten?

Welchie took over a team with alotta high end talent, maybe the best group of 3 players on any team in the league (McDavid, Matthews, Bergeron...ooo baby!!) but that also had plenty of holes. Over the last few years the Welch-man has managed to add some impactful depth like Lewis, Chiarot, and Crouse that has helped him separate his team from most of the other teams in the East. Will he win this early on in his BBKL career? Many a BBKL Lifer will loathe and despise him making us look like fools if he does!

This aint Matthews first rodeo. In fact, its his 3rd straight showing in the finals, but he has nothing to show for it. He was taken out by Bruyns the past 2 years and hes certainly hoping his consistency will pay off. Maybe a new opponent will bring forth a new result. Winning has gotta happen soon or Matthew and the Ducks are getting awfully close to being branded BBKLs resident playoff choker. Whereas Toronto sports a super 3some of centermen, Matthew has potentially the best group of 3 dmen in the league (Makar, Seider, Sergachev). One team has been built from the front and the other from the back.

Lets see which of the Western and Eastern Champions can claim the 2023 BBKL Championship!

Lets hope our in-team controversy of McDavid concussing one of our prized deadline acquisitions, Anderson, doesn't impact our performance too badly. McDavid better make up for that egregious error in judgement! Doesn't he know that Anderson is on his team in the BBKL?? C'mon Connor!

I also should give a shout out to swayman. Without him I'm not in the finals. He's been the best goalie in the league during our playoffs

Sounds like he's due for a regression this week....

Are we doing "mid-matchup" changes? Like is Monday another lineup deadline? Granted, the second week only runs until Friday.

First big day of action last night...Matthew looks way ahead but the categories are close across the board. This will probably be a see-saw matchup after each of the busy nights of play occur.

As far as I know we haven't added that. It seems it would help me with makar possibly gone for the last 5 games, but I think if we plan to add it, it will need go wait until next year when it can be decided before the matchup begins.

I can never tell if there an official decision on that. I set up the sheets to have a tab for "Round 4A" and "Round 4B" in case you guys do it.

I don't think that went through yet, unfortunately

Aaaand jeannot gone for the season. Injuries starting to pile up.

You lead the matchup after the "first period" but the categories are quite even across the board in spite of an 11-3-2 start.

The rare 0 games on the schedule tonight...a loaded Saturday and only 2 games on Easter. Down to the last 3-5 games for most teams...still have some position battles in the playoffs to sort out and only 1 of the 4 wild card spots are decided. Looks like a fun finish to the regular season.
