Big Shot Arian tries his wiles against 2 time reigning western conference champ Matthew in this exciting match that could go either way. Arians wiles come in the form of a super artillery barrage that features Draisatl, Marner, Suzuki, guentzel, Toews, McAvoy and Forsling that have made Edmonton into the numero uno point scoring team and #2 in goals in BBKL. While Arian draws from the hip, Matthew will give ya the boot as his Anaheim Ducks feature such rough and tumble thugs as McBain, Jeannot, Cernak, Benoit, and Seider that have placed him #1 in SHTOI, #2 in Hits, #2 in PIM and #5 in Blocks in BBKL. While their skaters are fairly even this matchup may come down to either teams lacklustre backup goaltenders: Edmonton sports Desmith and Anaheim has Swayman whose NHL teams matchup on saturday.

The Laffs and Philly both sport high powered offensive units (McDavid, Matthews, Kempe, and Burns) and (Kucherov, Huberdeau, Hertl, and Lindholm) but where Toronto separates himself among the skating units is periphs with two way warriors like Bergeron and Hathaway. Sheps advantage comes with Saros in net and he will need to him to pull through if he wants to take down his second eastern conference titan in two weeks.

i looked at matthews roster too and then i start to lose my 13-2 advantage over arian in what turns out to be a stressful and disappointing week HAHAHA

Great start for Desuck!

Poor shep lost his shutout with 1 second remaining in nsh/bos game

Arian will need that offense to come through after the rough showing by DeSmith. The Wings lineup is depleted but they still hang 6 on him plus an empty-netter.

It's so weird to see teams with important games left in the season but they play so awful. The Jets get shutout last night in a very important game. It tells you how much of a drop off there is in the West between the top 3 in the divisions and then down to Seattle and then the last wild card spot is a team that's probably a lamb to slaughter in the first round.

Was expecting sway and ulmark to split the 4 games this week. Seems ulmark is getting 3 which of course leaves me a little crestfallen.

That DeSmith performance absolutely destroyed goaltending categories for me either way, as Swayman will get 1 start at least. I have to hope Boston loses so wins stay tied, but with that record it's unlikely.
