Confirmed. Probably wrong board, but Scott will take care of that

Definitely prefer Larkin to Filip Forsberg (always felt he is overrated) but I guess it depends on where the 1st ends up.

Lol at mik saying everyone would be upset at how cheap larkin went for.
Seems like a good deal for both teams.

All set.
Interesting deal. Curious to see if Larkin goes above or below Forsberg's $8.5 million on his next deal.
The Wings haven't established a new high bar for their salaries. Larkin is already the highest paid player on the team at $6.1 million. I would think $8.5-9 million doesn't seem unreasonable for your #1 center and captain consider the market and the cap is going to go up.
Since he entered the league, he's had 381 points...the next closest to him with the franchise during that time were Anthony Mantha at 194 and Tyler Bertuzzi at 192. He's been their best player since he's joined the team and by a wide margin.

Well if Barzal got 9.15x8 from Lou, I don't see how Larkin can get less than that despite SteveY.
So, right or wrong, when doing this deal I estimated to save about 1M for next year going from Larkin to FF.
Main reason behind the deal for me was my logjam at C though.

I don’t mind that cap hit next year. Especially with toews getting cheaper.

Hey Mik
when you gonna cut that boat anchor of a contract filip Forsberg is carrying? He's almost as good a bbkler as Trevor Lewis this season

not sure what you are talking about, probably just a lame attempt at coming back at me after I pointed out your boy Alscher has been left off the Czech team and probably won't make it
I see Lewis is not on your team btw so you should go after him!
as for Forsberg, I think I will let him anchor my team, but thx for your concerns
