this kind of comment truly differentiates who actually watches hockey and know the politics behind players involved vs someone who looks up cross sectional stats only.

Capitalizing on a career year from a 26 year old with 45 career points makes sense. Peterka could be good but Marchment is UFA and this could be an outlier season especially if he doesn’t resign in Florida.

Makes a ton of sense for Mik, cheap productive player gives him more flexibility and he didn’t need Laine as he already has a top offence.

My comment has more to do with me laughing behind my screen knowing you are doing another poor job of rebuilding. The amount of futures you have sent for roster players recently is... interesting.
