Yeah it was funny, both shep and billy were going after him hard, and had pounded you and Bry for him, so instead of trying to beat them in a bidding war I offered both you and Bry packages I had no intention of paying (in fact I even told you to look at my prospect list). The goal was to stall you too long enough until I could find someone who was unaware of the situation at hand, enter luke. At that point I made a quick overpayment to seal the deal.
