I like this deal for Vegas. Billy gets a good player, but he is on the older side. Eventually there is going to have to be an influx of youth and I’m just not sure where it’s going to come from.

Billy has been in win-now mode for a while so this fits his plans. He's made some nice adds since last year...I think he's got a decent shot at competing for a playoff spot.

Honestly thought he was Iike 31.

So while 29 may not be old looking in a vacuum if you look at the bigger picture I think the argument could be made that he’s too old. At least too old to be trading away 20-21 year old blue chippers. He’s going to be a depreciating asset going forward.

There is risk with bouchard too. He's 21 1/2 and has barely touched an nhl lineup.
