The Canucks are getting to the "shit or get off the pot" stage with Luongo. On paper, they're a contender but just like the Sharks, they can't breakthrough. The Flames, Avs and Wild are possible playoff teams and the Oilers are obviously a team to look out for in the next couple years with their young core.

Na they are better suited on different lines.

A big return from P-MB would really improve their offence, and they appear to have this years Tyler-Bozak in Casey Wellman, not to mention Palmer looks near-NHL ready. Combine that infusion of goal scoring with the young defenders they have ( Healthy Burns & Barker, slick skating Prosser) and the vet defensive dmen ( Zidlicky & Zanon) and the most consistent goalie since the lockout Niklas Backstrom and I believe you've got the making for a surprisingly good team.
