In this thread, post the players you want to slide and I will assign the designation in the database and you'll see the slide status on your sheet.

*NOTE -- A player with a slide contract can be "signed" and added to your active roster at any point this season but your team can't be at 50 contracts and the player will remain on your contract list for the remainder of the season.

PLAYERS ELIGIBLE FOR SLIDE:
- 18 and 19 years old players (i.e. not turned 20 yet) as of October 1st who have not played 10 NHL games in their career yet.
- players with 0 NHL games that get signed during the season

HOW IT WORKS
GMs can leave those players without a contract on googledoc so that their contracts do not count towards the limit (50).
Whenever a GM decides to put one of those players in the active roster (lineup or bench) he needs to add his contract on googledoc and as a result from that moment onward that player will automatically add to the total number of contracts.
Once a player is given a contract on googledoc he loses his sliding eligibility for the rest of the season.

With the new sheet, the players listed under "SLIDE-ELIGIBLE CONTRACTS" are the contracts you can slide. When I designate them as a slide in the database, the contract will not count against your 50 and blue icon will appear next their name.

You must declare in this thread whether or not you decide to "call up" a sliding contract in-season.

If you want to get an idea of what the sheet looks like when your player has a sliding contract, look at Lee, Josh, Luke or Brendon's sheet. The blue arrow icon (similar to CapFriendly) shows up next to the name in the "SLIDE-ELIGIBLE CONTRACTS" box and it'll show up next to the player's name in the "MINORS" section. Any player you don't have in your lineup appears in "MINORS" or if you've still not filled out your lineup, the entire roster will appear there including your slides.
