In all seriousness though Polak is still a very good periph D who puts up a lot of PIMs, hits, blocks and SHTOI and is the same age as Bozak and Mironov is still adjusting to his first season in N.A. and could end up a valuable periph D as well. I also offered Cole for Bozak but he liked the depth.

Ya not sure how good mironov is but much prefer for Matt

Well it's not like he was forced to pick a poor offer (the 'depth' one) just because your other one was worse

edit: maybe it's looking worse than it is to me because I don't think much of nowadays Polak and thought Mironov was ready to go back to Russia (not sure how that turns out and haven't seen Polak play for a while)

I admit I'm a stats guy so have a penchant for those that produce. Bozak ain't what he used to be, too many goose-egg stat games (other than FOW) for my liking. Though accordingly to comments here he supposedly still carries pretty big name value, so guess I could've shopped him a bit more, particularly given all the TO fans around here. Polak helps me immediately, he's a peripheral beast which is one of my biggest needs, as well as a nice cheap cap - I'm swayed by big numbers like 7 hit/8 SHTOI games that can really turn a matchup around. Sure this carries some risk on my end, guess ultimately we'll see whether my team is better off by season's end. All good though, thanks for all your feedback.
