I did odds a while back. But that was before Scott took apart his team. And other things have changed. The league vote for who people think is going to win is BOGUS. Given that Scott has taken apart his team I stand here telling you the TOP 8 Teams in BBKL.

1. ST. LOUIS BLUES - Shep's move to the west is not the only reason he is 1st. He has the BEST mix of offense and peripheries. I think if he makes it out of the west, he can OWN any team from the east (yes, Washington, Pittsburgh, Boston and New Jersey included).
2. LOS ANGELES KINGS - Crosby, Ovechkin, Sedin, Sedin.
3. PITTSBURGH PENGUINS - Better than Washington.
4. BOSTON BRUINS - After St. Louis, this is the best combo of peripheries and offence.
5. WASHINGTON CAPITALS - Will get OWNED by any of the above 4 teams.
6. NEW JERSEY DEVILS - Only here because he chose to take his team apart. Otherwise the Devils would hold the #1 spot.
7. SAN JOSE SHARKS - Has to get by LA and STL. But the west increases his odds.
8. PHILADEPHIA FLYERS - Youth Youth Youth. And Talented, Superstar Youth. Just pray they don't break out at the same time.

Matt, Berg and I also ran the stats and got notably different outcomes. However there are so many changes that its hard to keep track of.


and when i say "ran the stats", i mean we estimated all 12 skaters stats for each player, summed them across the team... then compared team categories by category.... we ALWAYS looked at last years stats and where very conservative with any differences, slightly better, slightly worse, same.
