Barrie has been doing good for snow this winter hasn't it? Relatively speaking.Bruyns wroteCOLONSnow was above the bottom of my door yesterday, but not that bad. Most snow I've seen right now in Barrie since I moved here in 2001. Not a very cold winter though at least.
10" inches in a big North Eastern city is alot. Boston is equipped to handle that but its the wind that gets you.foofnik wroteCOLONWe got 10" the other day and it closed schools for 2 days out by me, and even a day in NYC which is super rare. It made my drive to work easy with hardly anyone out on the roads.
BC Coast has been having a crazy winter for their standards.LordQuack wroteCOLONWe got 15 cm and they shut down the schools for a week in victoria.
It's always crazy how big of a difference the accumulation is between Barrie and Toronto considering they are only separated by a little more than an hours drive. Snow bank beside my driveway is over my head so ya it has been a lot more than normal.CAM wroteCOLONBarrie has been doing good for snow this winter hasn't it? There is nothing in toronto Matt... even in Newmarket there is less than 10 cm haha. Bottom line, don't head north of 88...Bruyns wroteCOLONIt's always crazy how big of a difference the accumulation is between Barrie and Toronto considering they are only separated by a little more than an hours drive.
