We will be doing things a bit different this upcoming regular season with regards to team transactions and players that are on waivers. This is to eliminate confusion and clearly have players on waivers visible for the entire league. Two new threads are dedicated to this specific issue aside from the standard "transactions thread". You are still required to record your team transactions but if you have a player that is waiver eligible, it is on your honor and duty to declare this player if they are being sent to the minors or are being called up.

Two thread have been created. One where you declare a player to waivers and another where these players will be listed with present claims made by specific teams. ADMINS and or Mods will be monitoring these threads to make sure it is constantly up to date and that all claims are processed equally and fairly. Any team can make multiple claims on players BUT can only be successful once per 24 hour period.

Please explore these new threads to get a feel for things and make sure you understand how it will work. It will be very organized and beneficial to the entire league.

Please note that these new threads will be strictly business only, please no commenting or chatter. This will make it much easier for the Mods as well as the entire league.

Could i please ask that when people are doing any of the following that they specify their intentions clearly.

1. When a player is on waivers and you would like to put in a claim, please state your team name and that you would like to place a waiver claim on xxx player.
For example: The Boston Bruins would like to place a waiver claim on Dave Scatchard

2. When you want to pick up a FREE AGENT, state that you are signing FA xxx player.
For example: The Boston Bruins would like to sign FA forward John Doe

3. When releasing the rights of an un-contracted player please state the following:
For example: The Boston Bruins would like to release the rights to UFA Alex Svitov

4. When waiving a player, please clearly state that the player is waiver eligible so it can be properly processed by the admins.
For example: The Boston Bruins would like to waive Ryan Craig

If everyone follows this it will be much easier to keep track of properly waived players versus free agent signings etc...
