Lucics biggest anchor right now is his lack of speed
LAK flies down the zone with kopitar gaborik. I don't think Lucic catches up with them.
I think he becomes a 35 pt 200 hit player hence why I didn't go for him. Nobody in lak scores more than 65 pts to begin with, including kopitar himself. Lucic isn't gonna surpass 40pts there

Boston was never a high scoring team either and he found a way to produce there.

U gotta look at realistic factors in conjunction: Boston was not a scoring club sure. Hes reached 60 pts there how long ago? When he was a crazy monster with everything clicking in Boston for them.

Hes nothing but aging. Typically with age in power forwards, there is no way no matter what team ur on, should offence increase for any reason unless he takes steroids. Not bashing on ur guy. Just my logic behind why I never thought it was a good deal for me. He'll always be hitting, but it's irrational to purchase him at the price I was asked for knowing that his offence will never replicate moving forward

Eh he's been a 60 point guy for a long time. Dropped down during Boston worst year in a long time. Lots of injuries. Especially centerman injuries impacting Lucic. As mentioned if he scores 50 points and continues his periphs I'm happy, even if Eberle scores 75. Periph heavy guys who also score on the side is kind of my thing.
