lol, at least I didn't pussy out....I put up a guy who was not going to play on Florida next year and took the best deal available.

I am only kidding lol. I realize that not all trades can be exciting blockbusters

What if Mitchell signs on with the ducks, and fits right in Penner style next to Geztalf, and Fischer makes the habs and is forever Subbans partner...


on the other-side, Svatos returns to 30 goal form on some super cheap deal...


but most likely the 3 of these guys never do much.

he's never even been to training camp... yet you have some expert opinion of him?

the UMinn program basically fell apart over the past 3 seasons... severally impacting the production of a defence first dman... this will be his first full camp, his skating is nice as is his long range passing. I understand he's not bluechip by any mean... but I'd love to hear where you saw him play that have you the insight to say, without question, he'll never be a hab.

Oh Im not blaming him one bit. It wouldnt be the first time that Minnesota's coach has ruined a potential blue chipper, yet for some reason they kept that horrible coach around. The program completely failed their players. Unfortunately now those players are years behind in their development because of a poor coaching staff. I was really high on Fischer when we first drafted him but he got screwed by no fault of his own.

Now hes also caught in a numbers game, with Subban, Weber and Carle all ready to go; and Id even go so far as to consider Tinordi even above Fischer at this point in time. MTL still has a young Gorges and O'Byrne as well; it will be hard for him to crack through that unless he makes up a ton of ground the next few years.
