Detroit Trading Block: Trade Deadline

***NOTE: I'm in fairly good shape with GP and I'm currently at 47 contracts and I'm $5.6 million above the floor.***

I'm showcasing the following players:
D Dan Boyle (Cap Hit: $4,500,000)

Over a full 82 games, he still projects out to be a top 50 offensive defenseman; playing at a +14 and averages over 2 shots per game.

W Eric Condra (Cap Hit: $1,250,000)

4th liner with the Senators and in a contract year; 98 minutes SHTOI in 42 games along with 5 points in his last 6 games.

C Ryan White (Cap Hit: $575,000)

Listed as a center but plays wing mostly on the Flyers' 3rd line; he's put up 5 points and 43 hits in 11 games...a point in each of his last 4 games (2 goals, 2 assists)
Other possibilities:
W Sean Bergenheim (Cap Hit: $2,750,000)

He's put up 18 points in 39 games; might go on the block if he is moved by the Panthers as reported.

Lewis & Palmieri are gone in a 2-for-1. With any remaining deals, I'd prefer to get an active NHLer for each one I'm giving up.

Full transparency, I was probably going to offer you Palmieri + Ian Cole for Sharp + small add until Steve swooped in with Kunitz. Would that have interested you?

so the package was shopped for barely over half an hour before you took the rape. Did you learn earlier in the day that Palmieri's career is over or something?

lol nah bro I was just copying rick james' line off david chappelle show I would never actually swear at you out of anger shoalzie.

just that I was mad cuz u went for a slight better player who happens to be 35+ yrs old. Not like u have a loaded competing lineup ready to go with kunitz' help needed in dire situation or anything so yea I just happened to be with what Kyuss is saying why not go a bit younger

What did I ask for in return and is that not what I got in return?

You offered me Zubrus as a starter...what more would you have thrown at me?

Sharp is in a weird spot right now. He still a very solid player but he's buried on the 4th line right now.

Im pretty sure kunitz stats are better than palameri and lewis combined. This seems to be typical fashion around here. Everyone offers junk then gets mad when they dont get the deal.

Sharp also isn't much younger than Kunitz. I think Shoalzie got Kunitz really cheap so good value for him, agree he is a little old for the Wings, but he could move him in the Summer or deadline.

you will never know now, that is the point to begin with.

And it was for Palmieri alone, obviously.

Steve will never admit it, but he would have done Kunitz + Palmieri imo, considering their contracts
