Just to be clear, I'm actually not sure there is a loser. Scott & Steve both saved cap, and got pieces that really make sense.
Arian is the winner, Steve save some cap and got a goalie who has top top end potential, Scott got the other guy in Washington, and locking in 82 caps games means a lot of wins, and he saves cap. Really a solid, interesting, hockey trade.

Its hard to believe LA & NJ were involved in a deal and both come out with the short stick

imo this is one the BEST hockey trades in BBKL history. each team did a stellar job of addressing their needs. well done boys.

I agree in the terms that there is no loser, however Arian won huge. Rinne is the safest and most proven piece being moved.
