Good dealing with you man. I tried to get it done without adding Granlund but when it came to crunch time, I knew he would get it done in the end.
I think it's a solid deal for us both.

Unbelievably smart move by Shep.. look out Steve, Shep is now a legit stud in the West.

wow, i guess he is...He is praying on this league's love of youth and prospects and making a superstar team at will...Good job. I still dont think Parise is in that top of the league category. In fantasy that is. Real life yes, our league, no.

With the larger emphasis on offence next year in our league, other than FOW, the only thing that would be hurting Parise badly are SHTOI and BS. Even then, you don't expect a ton of BS from an offensive stud.
I was looking at the top teams last night, and although bias, I
might have the best top 4 wingers.

That is exactly it. Shep with this trade is a legit contender, where as it stood I wasn't. I felt I wasn't ready to hang out with the big boys, I may have been able to hang out with most of the west but I wouldn't have come close to the east and thats why I made this trade. I felt this trade wouldn't hurt me too too much this year stats wise and really gave me some elite youth going forward. There is no doubt that for this year shep wins, however for my team's sake I think this was the right move. I now have a fairly deep young core to build around with guys like glennie/granlund/nelson/shattenkirk/gudbranson/robak etc not even penciled in. I feel this deal will potential make me a legit contender instead of just a competetive team. That is why I chose this deal. I also dont feel that at the end of the season the ransom would have been this high and with the gross amount of free agents I will have next year this also helps my cap. I dunno like I said I may regret this, but I feel I matched his production and then some.

Likely true.
Chitown also has an insane group of wingers, as does Vancouver and of course Scott.

Man, if Kulemin gets
stuck in beast mode and tosses up Ovy style #'s Bryan will look really smart
Shut up, let a man dream.

If he throws up sharps numbers I feel this trade has worked out well for me.
