IMHumbleO, someone just got their a$$hole stretched.

Handzus is a definite upgrade at center and I can stop trying to get the #1 guy and just roll with my centers by committee with him, Horcoff and Belanger. I don't have a high scoring #1 superstar to be the face of the team...just guys that hit categories and should be solid contributors. I've been bullish on trading Murray but I'd got a lot of versatility on my defense that I hope this was worth cashing in that chip for a guy that is more of a short term fix at a key spot and Sulzer is kind of at a crossroads at his career at 26 and Nashville being a defensemen factory. Shep is getting two guys that will definitely contribute to his team.

ah crap.. I guess i missed out. Ah well...

Yeah he's likely missing 4-6 weeks at the start of the season.

is it Shoulder surgery? to do with the injury he got last year? maybe hes damaged goods? I knew nothing about the surgery...

I believe it's the injury from last year, yeah.

I knew about it, but forgot about it until after the trade. Oops. No big deal.
