I must say, I'm a big fan of our roster. I'm tired of the western hockey style "big and tough" mentality.

That shit isn't winning us anything, we need a fast and skilled team like this one.

I would have put st lous on the team over mike smith or carter, but that's minor. Overall I like this team.

When have we ever been western hockey? Last olympics was the first time we differed from our usual build which has been team ontario lol. Big bodies and counting on us being better/stronger players to win. This team is actually the epitome of western hockey. Great D, great skating and built of chemestry rather then just the best player possible. That is the mandate of western hockey teams lol.

Got ya. Although i think our d were rather mobile. Dumba, Pouliot, Morrissey, Reinhart etc all have above average foot speed. Our forwards were the issue there imo. Hated the last two years WJC teams. Both really hard to watch.
