For someone with as shitty of a dcore as you have, and someone who has made as many offers on Ranger as you have, you'd figure you could see his value above anyone else, Shiv.
But hey, you keep rocking Bartley, Fayne and Schlemnko like the superstars they are.

I have never made you an offer close to what you just asked from Paul. That is batshit crazy. ESPECIALLY after the Leafs landed Gleason. But after seeing that, I will never be making an offer again.
Also, are you seriously commenting on the quality of my roster? LOL.

No you have not.. Your offers have been terrible. To be honest, I'm glad that you won't be making any more offers.
I was commenting on your dcore. Which is shit.

Damien Brunner for Paul Ranger is shit?
I am really looking forward to watching this movie again:
1. Lee starts the season on a hot streak.
2. Lee thinks he's going to make the playoffs.
3. Lee's hopes are crushed when he realizes his players were just on a streak.
4. Lee tries to sell players before the lose value. Someone offers Lee "good" value for his streaky players but he thinks he can get more (I offered a 1st for Ranger a month ago).
5. Lee decided to hold asset.
6. Lee's asset begins to depreciate in value.
7. Lee begins to PM people with offers instead of just waiting for offers to come in because he knows his players are a ticking time bomb.
8. No one bites because too many stats and too much information indicates player X on Lee's team sucks
9. Lee's player loses all value
10. Lee's team repeats cycle in the following year.
The End. Scorcese could turn that into an Oscar winner someday.
P.S. My D-core still has Vlasic, Sekera and Polak.
P.P.S. My first line could buy your whole team.

Brunner for Ranger is shit. He makes 4x as much, his 5 points do not make up for the periphs that Ranger adds and he is out for a month.
Good job on the hot streak, you are paying attention.
I currently am holding onto 8th seed in the East.
Still in the playoffs?
Sorry.. why am I selling a solid NHL D for a late 1st round pick?
And still holding. Ranger is 29 and puts up killer stats. Why would I sell him for nothing?
Let's just forget the face that he has more points than all but 2 on your dcore and has better periphs.
Offering him to people who are looking for a D. Good luck finding many others willing to trade active producing NHLers in season for picks and prospects.
His stat count would indicate that he does not, in fact, suck. People get a hate boner and it never goes away, nevermind that he has better stats than all but 2 of Toronto's dmen.
All value? You offered the magnificent Damien Brunner for him not 5 hours ago.
Considering I was second last my first year, 4th the next year, 16th the next and currently hold a playoff position... does that not show steady, consistent improvement?
He may, but it will not involve a Paul Ranger trade to the Pittsburgh Penguins unless you seriously up your offer.
A lot of good Polak is doing you, eh? It's cool that you have those other guys tho... mine still out score and out periph them
pps: Thanks for Huberdeau.

I was really hoping you came up with this comeback because I set you up perfectly:
1. Shiv loses in the playoffs
2. Shiv decides to destroy/rebuild team
3. Shiv makes a trade every day of the week in the off season
4. Shiv decided to destroy/rebuild team in the first week of the season
5. Shiv tries to reacquire players he traded away in the off season
6. Shiv loses in the playoffs again
^That would be a better Scorcese movie.
Alas, you are as creative as you are awesome at moving assets before they begin to decline.
