Franzen is a beast... It was hard giving him up...But as I told Kyle, I think playoffs are going to be very hard to get into at this pt, so taking the risk of Loui makes a lot of sense for me.

erikssons injured and I wanted a healthy body. Franzon is signed until like 2020 at 3.9 mill lol. he is also almost at ppg pace this year.
when mcbain plays, he plays more minutes and better minutes than ellis, although ellis has the better upside obviously. i dont like him too much (mcbain)but meh, whatever lol.
dylan mccilrath is a fucking monster. atlthough marchenko is also sick himself.
i think its a fair trade all around.

Now that u explain urself. It makes sense. Mule is a very solid and dependable bbkl piece (perhaps one of the most underrated)
Also, eriksson really starting to show signs of regression this yr. Dont know whats up with these concussions but IMHO, the new tough east opponent playing field catching up to his laziness. I dont believe he got wrecked this carelessly in dallas. Ppl treated him like a star there and didnt touch him much. If he aint playing and scoring 70 pts, he is useless anywhere else on the bbkl scoring sheet

McBain will be fine long term...He has had a few hiccups this yr, but will be fine.
I really love Dylan McIlrath, so this was tough, but I like Ellis too...
If Alexei Marchenko continues to develop he could become a monster as well..

im of the opinion that eriksson is showing a drop in offense this year because that entire line has seen a drop in offense (bergeron + eriksson + marchand/whoever else they slot in)
i didnt want to trade him and I wouldn't have traded him, if it were not for the injury.
Im really sad to lose marchenko though. The kid is an NHL ready right handed shot who is dependable in all areas of the ice. There are more then a few gms who know all about this kid.

Maybe I will have better luck trading for McIlrath now. Almost had a deal with Chris earlier, but it fell apart.
