So I've been thinking about making a BBKL chat application for sometime. That I could upload to Google Play for us to use using our phones and always be connected in a much easier way to our private messages etc.

Wanted to see what people thought of the idea?

What would the ideal BBKL app need to include?

Anything is better than the POS optimized mobile version that is currently available.

If you could get the app to include CBS stats, I think that would be amazing and super convenient for trade talks on the go.

An updated version of the standings would be cool too, IMO.

It's so much easier to shoot down ideas than present new ones of your own, isn't it dream killer?

I wouldnt trust any app shiv makes for us. I would advise against using it myself. You dont know if he will make a detonate world function at random order with a single click of a "send" button on ur supposed chat box while chatting with ur gm buddy

I view the site on my phone but I usually will wait until I'm in front of my laptop to respond to any PMs...especially with trades when I want to look over all my information on my laptop. I don't need an app for this league but a free mobile view of this board similar to HF's mobile view would be nice.

We do have a mobile option, listed in there.

A little rough on the eyes but it's better than no mobile option.

I would love an app Shiv!!!!! Go for it if you have the capabilities.....If it works, you may be able to see it to the phpBB makers???

Hi all - so I've been working on this (still a ways away).

I've shifted away from making it just for BBKL to something that other fantasy leagues can use also.

I have a question for you guys as part of my market research: If such an application were available on Google Play/the App Store, would you be willing to pay $1 per league that you are in?

Obviously it would be free for BBKLers, but I'm asking to gauge whether other people in the market would be willing to pay for such an app.

Not the kind of app I have in mind. I'll make a more details post on mine in a couple of days. I'd love to hear what BBKL has to say about it.
