im pretty sure he's penciled in as the 3rd line centre - hence the walking of Moore and metro

big win for steve.

Way too hard to judge this today, will be interesting to view this in a few seasons.

funny thing is, they are the league's top 4 scorers. But your right, tons of cap on 4 guys; i'm going to build a Burke team here....lol (i have no choice now) a skilled top 6 and a construction crew for my bottom 6 .

Hopefully it works, if not - i'll retool without touching my top 4 of Ovey - Crosby - Sedin - Sedin

true, i guess Daniel sedin didn't score as much as Backstrom or maybe Marleau...hopefully if he's healthy he and his brother can come close to (or top) 100 points.

Plus my bottom 6 guys certainly do a lot (in other cats) I've got PIMS, Hits, and blocked shots covered. Something i didn't have last season.

Sedins are awesome for G,A,+/-, SOG, STPTS, FOW(Henrik)... They don't hit any other stats barely at all but they will always put up consistent numbers. I think Steve has done quite well pairing them up. Very solid team. I refuse to judge a team and its players till i look at all the periphery stats that i would not know off hand. Thats why big namers aren't always the tell tale of a team.

Steve has some serious fire-power up front with his forward core. I'm not sure if it's as well rounded as someone like Kareem's though.

I don't really have a hitting machine, i should probably go out and get one. Sadly enough, Ovey will be my top hitter.

and for blocked shots, i really only have Gorges,,,,i still have some work to do.

I couldn't agree more, This year i've added Ovey + Sedin + Sedin + Connolly + Versteeg + MDZ

Your in trouble with those fellas. Ovie will be suspended for the year after purposely hitting from behind and breaking a guys neck. Connolly will be out for the year after he trips over a kleenex going to the dressing room. MDZ will be in a super freshman slump, Versteeg will be good though. He should get you maybe 15 goals and 15 assists. Sedins will rock the offense though but just not sure they can do it all.

The most likely thing to happen is a MDZ slump and the Sedins regress a little... however both could easily continue to KICK ass.

however, a team like mine is much more up and down:

Does JT slump? improve? stay a 25/25 ?
Kane remains injury prone?
Phaneuf crushed under the pressure in TO or does he flourish?
Weber improves his game now that he's the C? or the expectations push him down?
Taylor Hall wins the calder? or stuggels to enter the league?
Wheeler repeats his sophomore slump or returns to rookie forum?
Jamie Benn gets the jynx or continues where he left off?
Hiller gets hurt? doesn't do well w/o fighting for a job with Giggy?
