A Proposition for Authenticity.

As you all (or at least most of you) know, I moved to Hartford from Ottawa because fuck the Sens. However, I know it left a sour taste in people's mouths because it's not as authentic. As well, I can never argue anything that involves me backing authenticity because of the fact that I am the Hartford Whalers. Thus leading me to sit back and watch as these specific arguments come up.

Now, I in no way, shape or form want to go back to the Senators. Because frankly, fuck the Senators. And this has already been decided. Now, before Anton came in, I proposed taking my Assets to Chicago and have him come in with the old Chicago assets as the Senators, but apparently nobody liked the idea or it was just ignored. No big deal.

If there is anybody here that is willing to take the Senators, message me and maybe we can make a switch? Don't be a shitty team please There are about 5 teams I would blow my brains out, including Ottawa, if I made the switch.

what we need here, is 3 volunteer GM's from each conference.

1 good western team, 2 lower end western teams
and 2 solid eastern teams, 1 medium.

1 good team into the SE
1 good team in NW
1 good team into Central
1 lower end team into atlantic
the other 2 simply make it work.


this is our first year with a proper schedule and starting out with roughly equal conferences is a plus, and making the divisions reasonable to also a plus.

IMO the east vs west balance is a bigger issue & it would be very cool to have the Sens back.

The Flames I don't think are as good as FLA, and although COL & VAN are solid, neither are TOOOOPPPPPP end (not that I am either...LOL)... but having 4 solid teams w/o any top end would make it a tough division none the less.

besides you moving to NW makes just as much sense as me switching with the wings. it doesnt solve the problem. i think the optimal solution is either you switching franchises with TBL. OR you switching with Oilers AND Calgary switching with TBL.

imo you dont balance this league out with one or two moves it would take league commitment. I kinda think this should be an all or nothing thing. Also the nick tbl or the other one with nick coming here both work imo. Nick would pose are far great challenge for kareem imo but if your goal is to even things out nick to nw makes more sence. Again tho I dont think this is a massive step towards equality between conferences.

I just think more good long term gms have been in the east and that is what you see. Hopefully it averages out eventually with the new people invloved.
