Below is my list of players with what type of deal I expect in return for each. But it occurred to me today that wherever I go, I see a price tag on things I can buy and I've never experimented with exactly what price I expect for each of my players. It eliminates a lot of back and forth in talks as well.

The examples used will not be isolated to any particular team/aren't offers. But they are to be used as benchmarks when talking about the players on the list.

I realize some of the prices will get ridiculed by everyone. But I imagine 90% of players listed here will not have their prices met. 1-2 deals may come from this block because there is a point of agreement.

If you see a price tag above that is around where you value the particular player, PM/Skype. I imagine a deal would get done rather quickly as long as cap can be worked out.

You boys laugh. But we all value certain players on our rosters a lot. I guarantee a few deals will come out of this block.

2nd Line C for a W of Hossa's caliber is standard in this league. Hossa is 34 and 2.3M more expensive. Where exactly is that unreasonable? I do not think the Grabo benchmark is off at all or a case of me liking my player more than I should. Wait till Grabo plays for the Caps. This opinion will change.

Player valuations like this is why we haven't made a trade since August 2012.

What's annoying is that everyone has come in here to troll. I am fully aware that many of those prices will never be met. E.g. I value Frans Nielsen more than most people.

But I'd say at least 4-5 prices are within a range that can result in a deal.

If other teams did this, I bet a similar % of "fair" valuations would result as we all have players we like more than others, which is why we have them on our teams.
