That is fair. I know Det didn't have the room to make an offer so who knows what other offers he got. He does a lot that isn't seen on a score sheet though, I was happy when Manny Malholtra signed for a similar contract because before his eye injury, he was exactly what we needed. I'd be ok with this as a philly fan. I agree though that this late in the offseason, they probably could have gotten him for less.

Cleary was good. Signing him to 3 years while a guy like Raymond is on a PTO for less than 1M does not make ANY sense to me.
