Kyle Palmieri recalled from Syracuse after a blistering 7 goals and 2 assists in 9 games in the AHL.

ZOMG. PPG in the AHL..early in the year over a short span... NO WAY... headline & record breaking shit.
:P
7 goals in 9 games is very impressive...If this was one of your guys you would be doing backflips as well, and he scored tonight, so the streak continues.

Also the leafs still fucking suck at shootouts.

I didn't see the difference in that call vs Mitchell on Toews. I think thats a legal hit IMO. You going through the neutral zone with your head down, and get hit from right in front of you nearly, you deserve it. Perron does have headache issues apparently though.

Identical hits imo the only issue is that hit was last year, it wasn't a penalty then. I hate the rule but unfortunatly its in there and guys will be getting suspended for imo good hockey plays. I understand why the rule is in there *cough richards/cooke cough*but it seems the old adage rings true yet again when the the odd bad hit ruins the many good hits.

IMO the only way to stop pure head shot attacks is to take out the instigator so the players can police themselves....that will never happen though.

See the issue is this they are identical. That Mitchell hit on Toews was sent out by the league as part of the video of hits that ARE Allowed still under the new rule. Yes it was sent out as an example of a LEGAL hit. So, if they are nearly identical, what the hell kind of inconsistencies is this?
Also Campbell didn't make the call on this suspension, he was busy was the 2nd in command who did so.

David Krejci more than likely out for a while, got absolutely clocked by Oshie (one of two very good hits in OT), after the hit Krejci reportedly did not know what day it was. Sucks if it is a serious concussion, but on the brightside both Kyle and the bruins own him, which means both will suffer as a result of the injury.

hmm true the only difference I see is mitchell is skating more north south vs Joe's east west. Other than that Identical. I have no problem with the suspension or if willie mitchell was suspended on the new rule. again my only problem is the rule itself, takes away good hockey hits.

Lol, He did get rocked. He hit his face of the glass first then ice. He will be ok though. I am guessing he has a broken nose. And again, wishing ill on your opponents via injury will come back at you double time. Mark my words. You will experience a major injury in the next week. I am not wishing that for you but I am just passing on the news. The karma police have you on the radar big time and you keep tempting them. If i was to hazard a guess, i would say Stastny will be the one who goes down. ;)

It's a concussion, he took a baseline test after the game. The severity remains to be seen though.

The whole karma thing means nothing to me, I don't buy into superstition, and karma.

I have more points than you, and less man games lost to injury. By that logic, you are a HUGE asshole.

Where did you read that or hear that? about the baseline test? Not doubting you, I am just curious as i have not come across anything on web or TV.
