The Paul Ranger signing is going to make it very difficult, if not impossible for Morgan Rielly to make the Leafs this season. It also makes the Leafs cap situation that much tighter, one would have to think that Liles is a goner now.

might be a good thing for Rielly long haul to spend more time in the minors. I'm a big believer in waiting till they are more than nhl ready if it is possible. Worked for Kadri

better than rushing him to the nhl if he isn't ready. If you have to, give him 9 games to start the season. Kid is 19, why rush.

another full year in MJ is pointless. I hope to god the Warriors trade him to a contender - only way another year in the W is worthwhile for him.

He'll get his 9gp. I just hope that is not the deciding factor on W or not. Has to be based on his development, not on if he is good enough to warrant 15min a night.

Paul Ranger is gonna be the player where you break the no trade pact?

I'd rather he stick in the NHL and play a sheltered 10 mins a night + some PP time than go back to MJ and carry that hopeless team on his back for another full year.

Let him experience an NHL schedule, NHL coaching, NHL training, and be with the guys.

Ranger is a free agent, actually. Was not included in roster submission.
