facey wroteCOLONI cannot tell what happened in the hit with Doughty... they both seemed to kinda cross paths, both leaned into the other... how did he get hurt off of that??? Played the rest of his shift with a concussion? what is he ? super man?
to me it looks like doughty was trying to turn around and was taken by surprise. I think cole is 100% the instigator of that contact.
Yeah puck was long gone, more on Cole. I don't know if he was concussed, but there aren't many great views of the collision to be able to tell either.

Also its Biron vs The Monster tonight for those who didn't know.

Wilson said its not like hes looking down and facing his idol, which oddly enough I thought would do more to motivate him than say facing Biron. But whatever, works out either way.

Armstrong out, Caputi in.
DarrenDreger Darren Dreger
Colby Armstrong somehow popped a tendon in his hand [finger]. Surgery is required. 4-6 weeks is an accurate time line.
Versteeg day-to-day.
@HennyTweets Asst coach Tim Hunter says there's no official word on Colby's injury. Versteeg is listed as day2day

Polak out for anyone who cares:
St. Louis D Roman Polak will have surgery to repair a severed tendon in his right wrist on Thursday. He's out indefinitely.

Btw-> DownGoesBrown slowed down the Orr 'goal' yesterday and saw why the ref's didn't make a call:

ps-> Caps scored a very similar goal today.
Dallas forward Stephane Robidas receives automatic one-game suspension for boarding Matt Beleskey in last night's game.
Also wouldn't be shocked if there's a Hab getting a suspension for a hit from behind on Wiz... I thought it was brutal
