i think the Bernier deal was a homerun for us, and not even close. If the rumours were true and the flyers were offering Read + 2nd, i for the life of me can't believe why they wouldn't take that.

When i think of Bernier i think his upside is Rask...so essentially we could have just made up for our Raycroft deal.

It's not like you guys did anything stupid like trade two 1st rounders for him...

He's waiver exempt for the year. Who knows, I might just want to move Quick instead at the end of the year!

you should. perfect goalie for your system as well. If he lives up to his previous performances, you know have a goalie that can steal you games. Its been a long wait for a legit goaltender in leaf land.
