The slow horses have really slowed down around here, it might be time to change my avatar

A part of the reason why I'm reluctant is because my dad was diagnosed with melanoma last week. So we are all waiting for the prognosis.

agreed. this league needs life. I'll vote for Kareem to take over every available team, until the day he is back in.

i just wanna know while i knew this wud happen (both chris and kareem wanting to come back) why ppl decide to make rash decisions regarding quitting this league. consequences are almost non-existent but why ya'll wanna troll like that

FWIW, I had no intention of returning when I quit, and up until this week really hadn't regretted my decision, or even given it a second thought. However, as the NHL season looms closer and closer I am getting the hockey itch again, and this league is a big part of that.

If there is still room in the league, and an appetite to have me return in a managerial capacity I would love to return, and if not I can live with that too.

I did it too, I took a full season off. For me it was my life was so hectic and at that time a member was ruining the league single handedly and I didn't need frustration in my free time when my work life is full of it. Those are just my reason's but I totally get the frustration that comes when you are an extremely active member in this league that would lead you to leave the league. That alone is why I am far less active now then I was in the past, I won't let it get there again.
