When is the official start

Can we still slide players this year? Can we slide players we draft in the waiver draft, or is it just 18 yr olds from the entry draft? not too sure how this works.

Is there an official ownership area/sheet/anything so I know if a guy seemingly available on Fantrax is actually available or not?

Most open players on fantrax should be available. But the google sheets should be all good. At the end of the day you can always search a name on the boards here. If there name has never been posted before, they are available.

Unless the guy was just drafted and is available on fantrax, he should be free to be picked.

Although honestly, at this point, if you havent picked up your guys on fantrax, they should be free to be picked in the waiver draft. you've had months.

No surprises so far. Waiting for the Mike Reilly or Seth Griffith of this year that make everyone look like fools who didn't do enough homework. I made a huge mistake early on in the waiver draft last year by not digging into the NHL drafted BBKL undrafted players.

Just now realizing that Joonas Donskoi has been owned by Columbus since 2010...I need to go to a quiet place for a moment and I'll come back and pick. Bad enough Mik has had Panarin since his draft year.
