Ref's have been pretty horrible all around these playoffs
if i was the NHL i'd force them into a strike just to see if replacements could do better.

Another reason why it's risky to make trades in our league prior to guys signing new (NHL) contracts...granted, the guy is 39 so that's buyer beware in itself. I figured he was done with the NHL after this contract...that's why I got rid of him at last year's deadline. We all play contract hot potato in this league.

It's the same thing both ways: you have a guy? Try to divest and take a potential loss instead of losing him for nothing. Being offered him in a trade? Well, potential buy low for a small investment. It's risky either way.
