MTL vs TOR would be dirtyyyy.

I want HABS LEAFS in first round SOOOO bad. As a non fan that would be amazing entertainment. Needs to happen. I guess we'll see if Boston can get rolling and keep that top seed.

See I'd rather it get pushed to like a conference final matchup so theres something big on the line. Would make the series THAT much better. Tired of all the Canadian teams getting 1st round exits in recent playoffs...

Habs and Bruins dont want to win the NE. Both teams will be taken out rather easily in first round unless there is a miraculous change.

Stars hire Jim Nill as new GM. 5 year contract.

Another member of the Wings family gets their own gig. Nill waited longer than he probably had to so his loyalty won't be forgotten. Dallas is in good hands with him.

I've been hearing it had nothing to do with loyalty to the wings. rather his contract prevented him from leaving if not a pay upgrade, and he was paid more than most GMs + his youngest kid just graduated high-school, supposedly he was opposed to moving them. Now he's paid more and his kids are moving away anyways. Seems like a good situation, Dallas is lucky to add a well vetted GM.

I'm sure they took good care of him...no doubt. He's been a GM candidate for a long time.
