WILMINGTON – Tyler Seguin, who was moved back to wing from center midway through the first period of Saturday night's 2-1 loss at Montreal, found himself wearing a grey sweater and skating on the third line along with Daniel Paille, Chris Kelly and Jay Pandolfo.

With Patrice Bergeron out indefinitely with a concussion, Bruins coach Claude Julien has had to shuffle his lines to stoke production out of his players, including Seguin, who declined to discuss his demotion following Sunday's practice at Ristuccia Arena.

"We move players around a little bit, maybe to balance things for the time being,'' Julien said. "But right now it’s about playing your game as an individual; you shouldn’t care where you are, you should care what you bring.

Looks like Carl Soderberg has signed a deal with Boston and the transfer card with IIHF has been filed. Needs to play 1 reg season game to be eligible for playoffs. Curious to see what he can do on third line. Bruins need help.

It matters to me lol. They hope he is back in time for the playoffs though as do I. He is under appreciated by Canuck fans, great depth player.

Hes a natural center. He would get that label in BBKL too until offseason because i doubt he plays C in Boston. That could be a nice boost for your offense going forward. With a healthy lineup, the Bruins forward depth is drool worthy. Now putting the attitude and drive in the right gear is another question.

Lucic - Krejci - Jagr
Marchand - Bergeron - Seguin
Söderberg - Peverley - Horton
Paille - Campbell - Kelly

ex. Pandolfo - Caron - Thornton

Heres contract details Bry..

The Bruins will pay Soderberg $600,000 this season, including a $500,000 signing bonus, and $1 million per season for the next two years.

pretty cheap imo.

Not bad.

GlobeKPD 3m
Chiarelli on Bergeron today on 98.5's Toucher&Rich: ''He's been working out and he's on the road to recovery. Things are looking good.''

also not bad.

if he plays as well as he looks like he can, then super cheap. I'd personally prefer, if I were a Bruins fan, to have either Kelly on the third line playing C or to swap Sod into that role as I don't think peverely is as good at C as he is a winger. Those really are some solid lines though.

Nice. So it's 2 years on top of the remainder of this year? Not too bad.

Also, if there's been links and comments from Bruins front office and coaching staff that they will play Soderberg on the wing in the NHL..shouldn't we list Soderberg as a W for BBKL? I get that he was a C in the SEL the Bruins front office has also objectively said that he will be a W for now.

But that doesn't use any formulas and is giving too much credit to common knowledge and sense. I say your crazy! We need some way to prove that he is not a Winger using numbers 8-)
